Restricted Performance and Fault Codes B1C98-15 and B1C99-15

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and after months of research, watching videos on youtube and generally plucking up the courage I have today bought 2013 Disco 4 SDV6. On the journey home on the M6 I got the restricted performance error and when I finally got to somewhere I could pull over and read the error codes they indicate RH and LH corner lamp circuit faults. I cleared them and carried on fine but they appear again and it seems to be under harder acceleration.

I'd really appreciate any thoughts or pointers you might be able to provide.

Many thanks,

Mark

Thanks.

So it turns out in this case that initially it was as simple as changing both cornering bulbs to get rid of the fault codes. Problem is that has now turned into a MAP error P006A00 and a P274300 Transmission fluid temp sensor b circuit high input. So still getting restricted performance. Seems to show up under acceleration at around 50mph.

It’s under warranty at the moment so hopefully it’ll get sorted but I like to understand the issues in more detail!
