few more jobs done while we have a bit of time on our hands.
finally the black side steps are on, along with front mud flaps - rears still to go on.
30mm wheel spacers fitted all round.
then the roof plate from ProSpeed, which I tucked under the front lip of the perspex wind deflector panel.
along with a new rubber seal fitted to the underside of the front roof panel
just been for a short drive up and down the bypass as the battery was very low.
significantly quieter at motorway speeds - am pleased with that, especially considering the real estate up there!
although slight own goal as one of the reasons for fitting the plate was to attach my magnetic orange hazard lights to - it's not magnetic.........!!!!!!!
will have to think of an alternative solution
hope everyone is staying safe and wellformerly Disco3Ben

got a bit of time running cables for the split charge system I took out of the D3, having already swapped the panel over in the boot.
In the RHS battery box I have the usual bits which I was about to start relocating but also have what I presume is the stop/start battery in there - which is a much larger object to relocate.
(Mine is a 2016)
is it best to leave alone and try and get the battery into the rear LHS boot cubby? or am I missing an easy relocation space somewhere??
Thanks formerly Disco3Ben

What size seal are you using to cover the gap on the roofrack? Having mine delivered next month and keen to do something similar.

Hi Ben,
What brand of wheel spacers did yo use out of interest? Have you noticed a difference from handling and general look?

Cheers!
Also looking at getting some 30mm spacers front and back. What did your insurers say about it?

have been searching for wheel spacer info and I think I bought them from ProSpeed when I bought some other bits.
Suggest you give them a callformerly Disco3Ben
