I also found it therapeutic, if exhausting due to where it was and how tired I was. I ended up getting a few hours sleep in the passenger seat with the car interior virtually totally dismantled around me, when car was parked up in a garage’s yard. Deffo one of my weirder experiences.
And from the look of those pics you’ve been able to undo a lot more connectors than I did. If it didn’t undo on 2nd at attempt the Leatherman started earning its keep.

On the plastic engine cover do u have the rubber fittings underneath that secure the cover to the engine plse
