Yes - kind of eventually. I manged to find a module pictured below which worked ok. However the leds on the heated switch don't light up but the heated wheel is on! I have raised this issue with BBS and their support has been good. i'm going to end up sending them their pcb and my module back to them and they will test everything on the rig up they have. More expense but I've come this far so would really like it to work correctly.

Amazing.
Would you mind posting up what you did to get it working? I have that older ECU so just need to know what to do

Thats great, I'm glad you've shown you can get the older module to work. I'm sure the led light can be fixed.
Could you send some more photos of the module you are using so I can compare to mine, plugs and wire colours would be useful.

This module is different from the one you have. Heated wheel 4 pin plug plugs into the end of the module and the 3 pin plug to the switch pack is female so plugs straight in

Was hoping it would be easier than that!
Where did you get your new module from?

As a rough estimate:-
Good condition D4 2010-12 heated steering wheel complete with switches, airbag and correct heated wheel control module - £200? New - dread to think!
Blackbox Solutions conversion kit - £200
Clockspring with power in/out connections for module - aftermarket/second hand £60. Genuine LR new don’t ask!
Plug and play power kit https://www.disco3.co.uk/shop/heated-steer...r-p52.html
From forum shop £14.
Wire coat hanger for airbag removal tool - priceless!
