@Narpy boot lights
Hiya
Sorry to trouble u but wasn’t it ur goodself that did an update to ur boot lights plse , as if I remember u installed a pair of lights either side of ur main one and really looked good
I’ve got some small LEDs and wondering what kind of transformer u also used please , can I then simply connect them to the centre overhead light
pics below of the LEDs I got , came as a pack of X5 so having some spare thinking of putting one under the back of each front seat frame ( or rear side of centre console ) so illuminates the floor better for when my dog gets in and out , running power to them from the front footwells lights
I also read there’s suppose to be a purple wire which is part of the door light loom at the bottom of the B pillar

I used 3.4v ( I think ) cupboard lights. I sourced a step down transformer from 12v to 3.4v from eBay. I only used these cupboard lights because I had them left over from a previous mod at home.
If, however, you use 12v lamps you then won't need a step down transformer and can wire them directly to the power feed for the puny little lamp that currently tries to illuminate the boot space.
What operating voltage are your lamps?Mods:

Thks a million for the link and that’s brilliant being able to just wire them straight in without a transformer
Says there 12v , I did wire one up temp to a spare battery and surprising how bright it is

May i ask please, does anyone know where I can get the small black electrical connectors that fit onto the headling lights please
For the life of me I can’t find them unless there not available separately , trying to get 4 x of them

Another great install and have been looking for some small LEDs to illuminate the middle row floor , mainly so my dog can see the floor easier
See there daytime running lights , had been looking at the rope type LEDs but those LEDs will be perfect because easier to secure underneath the back of the front seats
Hadn’t thought of them to be honest until seeing them in ur install

£4 for a pair off ebay, each with self adhesive tape
Worked well enough for a few years, then they failed
When it's back on the road, I'll find some better quality ones, and redo it My D3 Build Thread
