and the Spanish police force "civil guard" has also bought a large fleet recently, specifically they were 85 D5. I think LR have found an alternative to place the D5 so difficult and low sales

It will have been eye watering!
It’s also highly likely that it’ll be down to a monthly cost to include the vehicle, all maintenance and service and warranty cover for the term of the contract, at a cost that no one will make any money out of. But, with plenty of spare capacity in Slovakia, they’ll be keen to shift some output at whatever they can reasonably get for it 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄

2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

It doesn't quite work like that ...the JLR fleet specialists are essentially part of dealership network which has to buy the vehicles off JLR ...while there will no doubt be a healthy incentive ...everyone along the line has to make their money.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
