Hello everyone
I write from Italy ... I wanted to ask for info for the roof upholstery/carpet
Can you tell me a company that sells original or similar material to the original (roof and uprights).
So you can buy it to get the job done here in Italy.
Many thanks to everyone for their help in advance

Hi Wasabi !
Welcome to the Dark English side!
The phrase you were after is roof-lining ... although I have no idea where you'd get it from.
would a breaker / scrapyard be a better way for you ? Not sure how they work in Italy, although I do know you have them as there's a prominent one on the outskirts of Foggia .

Hi Wasabi,
They're also known as headliners. You can pick them up on Ebay from breakers from 150-250 euros for a used one.
I would suggest going with Hardware17's suggestion of a breakers/scrapyard nationally in Italy first.
I'd imagine the courrier fees to Italy would be pretty extreme, as its an awkward size. 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

Hello
Thank you very much for the greetings
I could buy it from a breaker but it would always be used or with fallen parts.
Instead, I wanted to cover mine with new carpet

Ah ok.
I understand. I have no idea if you can get actual geniune replacement material for the D3 headliner.
I know from having re-covered a D1 headliner that I bought a similar type fabric from a haberdashery shop for that job. Looking at my D3 headliner it does feel similar. I then used spray adhesive to stick it on.
That headliner had pretty much completely seperated, so was relatively simple.
I haven't heard of anyone doing a D3 one. Maybe search the forum?
I hope this helps!! 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
