Hi rob just did the powerfuluk facelift myself and new owner of my first d4 although mine hasn’t been such a smooth ride.
Had the car 3 months.
Mot & service £700
Two new tyres £300
Owner said cambelt had been done but contacted the garage that did it and they said they only did the front one, the easy one, knobs. So another £700 as I had the electric handbrake stick on also so that needed cleaning and resetting.
To top it off the restricted power light came on last week and the left manifold has split, turns out I might as well have both done as it’s a 4-5 hour job another £800-£1000
Bought the car with full service history, mostly LR, done 1001k when I bought it now on 1003k
So far I’m not very impressed at all with something that is supposed to be well built. It’s on its last warning as I really don’t want a car that’s in the garage every month.
I hope you have better luck.

Easiest and cheapest conversion going.
I need to do the following on mine at 97k but was aware of the 'routine' stuff before I drove it away.
Full service - it's due now on mileage
Both Belts - front one looks brand new but no evidence of a change
Auto box flush - preferential
Diff oil changes - preferential
4 x tyres within the next 6 ton12 months just to get matching rubber all round
Rear wiper is very slow so may need to strip and clean the motor.
Other than that all good so far after 400 miles

I had the major service plus the gearbox flush / oil change etc.
Just been unlucky on the split manifold I hope, hopping for trouble free motoring for the rest of the year at least. Originally I bought it and hoped to go to France in it next year but at the moment I’m losing trust in it already.
I do love the look and drive of it but if I’m honest maybe I should have bought something around 65-70k

Don’t fret. I bought my D4 in Feb with 109k on the clock (now 125k). My inlet manifold split 4 weeks or so ago. All fixed. I’m now in the Dordogne. No dramas. It never occurred to not take it. I just added fuel, family and luggage and went. Don’t get too stressed about these things. Most of the time they are fine. D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

That’s what I’m hoping. You know how it is, you sell a perfectly good car then buy a new one and it starts going wrong every month all the while your wife keeps saying .... I don’t know why we sold the old one.
Enjoy the dordogne!

grill, black badge, fog light surrounds and lettering. £143, money ive recovered from selling off stuff i had on my Freelander2.
all from Powerfuluk.co.uk , next day delivery and took less than 30 mins to swap it all over.
IMO its really freshened up the front end to a more modern look. I love it

Just wait until you all try and get the side vents off.
Mine is already a MY14 model, but had to take them off recently for painting.
Had them off on the D3 before, but these D4 ones were much more difficult and I had to resort to a different tactic.
