Alternator goosed

Had the below warning message come up today....




I’m assuming that this is my alternator which has given up the ghost, but is there anything else that could cause this issue. Just considering all options before I start trying to work out how to start stripping things apart Shocked

Best way to check is stick a voltmeter on the battery terminals and see what voltage reading you get, you should be getting around 14v when the car is running unless you have an IId tool which will do that for you.

I changed my alternator a few weeks ago and followed this great guide

I bought my alternator from Advanced Factors, have a look here for the right one, Denso seems to be the recommended manufacturer.
