I enjoy watching those videos - envious because if I spent that long cleaning my car, missus would kill me.
I bought some Meguirs Gold Spray wax the other day, easy and quick with great results. Now Golf GTI PP, 7 speed DSG.

I use a rotary polisher from tool station with adjustable speed i will look for a link and post it. Yes there are different grades of mop head and compound.
Always start with the softest compound and if that doesnt work move onto more afressive grades. Garys scratch on the rear left all came out with a mild scratch remover and white mop head.

Hi
I carefully removed the bonnets lettering , but as I thought the backing has been left behind , don’t want to push my luck by trying to scrape the glue off
May i ask what’s the best thing to remove it with plse
Also gave it one coat of the meguiars bumper trim cleaner , well pleased as it’s taken most of the grey out , also cleaned my door trims and dashboard with it, couldn’t believe the amount of grime that came off
Many thks

Just did all my lettering a few weeks ago (from silver to black).
Used a bit of heat, meths, a small plastic scraper, some elbow grease & patience.
It is a laborious job. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

I wouldn't put white spirit near it in case it reacts with the paint....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
