YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR A/T G015

Anyone got any experience with the above? Considering them in 285/50-R20 to replace our ageing Michelin Latitude Tour HP.

My main reservation is whether they will physically fit - the Michelins were a road-biased tyre so not massively thick tread. Looking at the Yokohama website suggests the Geloander could physically be quite big.
 Cheers,

Gareth

Can't speak for them in that size, but can confirm they come up very slightly oversize across the shoulder when compared to a road tyre in the same sizing on my Freelander. Probably an extra 15mm, being slightly more square.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Thanks NoDo$h, that's what I was expecting.

The Michelins just about clear the suspension and chassis with 3mm spaces on, so suspect the Yoko's might be a bridge too far, and I don't want to increase the spacers.

Back to the drawing board...
 Cheers,

Gareth

I had them on my Defender. Very good on road tire also in the wet. But not really made for any offroading.

Best
