OK I accept I’m wrong to expect an improvement in build quality. 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Maybe you really meant that you’d expect a better level of quality control. Which I think is reasonable to assume might be a consequence of a brand new facility.👍 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

It just really frustrates me, I have a deep love for the brand, I’m sure that’s clear, and loyal as they come. There’s nothing else I’d rather drive but at times it’s an effort, simple changes at the factory, better QC as you say, would make a big difference rather than customers cars turning up with bits missing or poor paint jobs and having to battle with dealers and LRCRC. 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

So do I, but I don’t expect to have a dealer tell me that the TPMS doesn’t tell you the tyre pressure, that it needs new disks and pads when it doesn’t and on and on. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I was told that fib about needing new rear discs and pads on a 10 month / 30,000 mile old D4 that went in because the handbrake shoes were squeaking Not been back to Carr’s service department in Truro since
But I’m sure that untruth is not unique to Land Rover dealers - it’s certainly happened to a colleague with their 5 Series at a BMW main dealers 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
