hi to all
looking for a remanufactured (or new) front diff for Disco 3 (TDV6 year 2006).
Does anyone know any workshop in Europe which deals with diffs??
(unfortunately due to brexit the applied import taxes make purchace from the UK very expensive... )
thnx

What state is your diff in? You could just fit new bearings? Series one 1949 - in bits, chassis is strapped to the ceiling in my garage (beside the canoe)
LR 90 - In bits
Disco 3 - currently in bits

Hi
thnx for reply
I occasionally notice a very light grinding noise at low speeds which becomes constant at high speeds (eg. 60-80 miles/h)
Workshop stated that the diff is starting to deteriorate (i can still live with it they stated) but they don't perform rebuild...they just remove it and sent it to a 'specialized shop"...all actions are about 800+ pounds
so i' m considering what i have to do....
cheers

hi
could you pls give me your opinion on a new OEM front diff (eg. this one https://www.paddockspares.com/axle-asy-front.html).
has anyone installed the above part?? i ve been told it is made in UK...
In Greece the overall price of a new OEM one compared to rebuilding my old part is almost the same.....
thnx a lot for your assistance
