with heavy heart, after 5 years, I today signed the documents on a 3 year old XC60, and will trade in my beloved D3 HSE in the next 2 weeks.
Still running well but as always an expensive car to run as a daily driver and now nearly 13 years old and 140K on the clock it will not get cheaper. I just do too many miles to justify the thirsty beast and the £560 road tax.
I would have loved to buy a D4, and looked for a while - but the budget meant I would still be looking at a relatively old car, so reluctantly I will say goodbye to this forum, which has probably been the most helpful internet site I have ever come across.
So thanks guys, and I hope I have maybe helped 1 or 2 along the way too.
I have a few bits that I will be offering for sale, namely genuine LR roof bars with 2 keys, full set of the genuine LR heavy duty rubber mats, original retractable rear load cover - PM if anyone interested, otherwise they will go on the proverbial bay after the sale.
I also have (just purchased) the Panoramix cable to upgrade the brightness on SatNav - I only got it a few weeks ago and just never got round to fitting, so thats available too - again drop me a PM if interested.

sorry to see you go and yes they can be costly but as I have 4 grandchildren who all want to come with granddad I'll have to keep mine.

I also have Uncle Rays spare wheel protector if anyone interested.
So to summarise:
Uncle Rays spare wheel guard
Panoramix brightness fix kit (new unused)
Genuine locking LR roof bars
Full set heavy duty original LR rubber mats (not the boot liner, just the front and rear seats)
