Just went on halfords. £114.40 for yuasa hsb 019 with 5 year warrantry well worth the bit extra in my view.
Well i’ll see how this goes and probably be back on this thread in hopefully more than 3 years time.
Keep receipt somewhere safe, and write date/time battery purchased on the battery itself.

That’s a great price and indeed trade card helps ,think they retailed around £140.00 , plus 1 with the yuasa 019 , replaced my exide EA1000
Wouldn’t ever buy a battery online again because of the hassle if anything goes wrong , had my yuasa for around 18 x months and so far so good, lasts just under a month not being used

I've learnt to scan and email myself a copy of receipts and have an email folder just for receipts.
Easy to do a search when I need a copy of the receipt.

Just changed batttery on the disco 3 after 15 years was constantly dropping to 12 volts and it was a Varta. The alarm on the car was always going off. Changed it for a Yuasa 5000 now 12.75 volts. The car now starts and runs a lot better. The car has 72000 miles on the clock. Battery cost £105.
