I’m not sure what RAL colour that is, but I’m going to get the paint shop to match it as closely as possible. My 2005 D3 is Bonatti too, I think Black would look wrong.
As my tyres need replacing shortly too, I’m hoping that a set of already painted wheels come up on here or eBay soon. Would be cheaper to buy than to strip, paint and put on new rubber. But I’ll need new tyres in a month or two so I may just have to get on with it.
These were on eBay last month but I missed them...

I have a guy (new startup I think) in Essex who’s chemically stripping, shot blasting, powder coating for £180 including tyres off/on + balancing.
Too good to be true - probably.
But the wheels are shagged and the tyres half cooked. Thought I’d give it a go. If it’s a mess I’ve not lost much

They seem to be back on eBay...! £750. Not bad given the tyres are good. No cash for me today as it is going to have a new torque converter and all the belts done next week. £££ ouch.
Will assess in a few weeks.

Anthracite 3 - Gloss black 1 - Matt le Black - 0
I reckon anthracite looks a little more grown up for an old car. Something tells me black would be a bit more "street". Not sure where I am in that mix
