To elaborate, engine sounds fine. I was going to mate to dud D3 with auto box.
The car was driving OK until I got it, I had it in high and low as well as soon as I got it to check out, very unfortunately I was laid up for a while and let the battery go flat. The possible issue with the driving is (I am told )that the “steering tilt mechanism” is potentially faulty so the brakes apply after 100m something similar to HDC mode. I believe from my forum reading it can be sorted with an IID tool but am not certain, I have tried for the easy win with hard reset and local garage resetting but it has comes back. Hence sold “as is where is”.
I can scan and send a service record that I have which shows most of life and there are some eye watering numbers in the list. The car belonged to a a neighbour in the village. I have spent nothing on it but it does have to go now. D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)
