Is there a way to select either NTSC or PAL on the video test screen within the hidden menu. So that it saves to that setting?
The Reversing camera i have just fitted shows a small black band across the top 3rd of the screen when in PAL mode which seems to be the default mode, and when i click on the bottom left to select NTSC the screen shows perfect with no black band.
When i leave the menu it seems to default back to PAL and cannot get it to stay on NTSC
Any help appreciated

i was of the understanding that the camera required for the reversing camera was NTSC so why does it always default to PAL?

I guess there are no dip switches or jumpers (etc) on the camera? You could get a NTSC to PAL converter and insert that right before the display to convert the signal. They’re typically quite small boxes. Some of them stretch the NTSC picture so it looks good on PAL since the latter has more horizontal lines.
I've had a look inside the camera and can't see any jumpers or switches, i was actually just looking at convertors but don't understand why i need one as the camera is an NTSC/PAL camera and if the disco should be NTSC as default why is it changing to PAL?

I have the same kind of issue, (D4 screen goes automatically on PAL (although i did order a NTSC camera )i see in the hidden menu) i have no clear image at all..
