Ok, so CareCare are refusing to budge. I've raised a complaint with them saying I don't want DWV to come back and CarCare have upheld the complaint and they offered me a massive £25 compensation which I have rejected, but they say DWV have to be given the right to rectify the mess.
They even went as far as booking an appointment without telling me - I only found out when I received a text last night to say they were coming at 09:00 today. Needless to say I told them not to bother. I won't be there and neither will the car as it's away for an insurance repair to the rear bumper
Does anybody in the know have any advice on where I stand from a trading standard / consumer rights angle?

I believe you have to give the firm one chance to put things right under the CLA 2015.
