What sort of discounts are floating about ?
Just having a wander through Autotrader, and came across a new (delivery miles) RRS with £10,550 off list.
It’s the newly updated model too, so anyone got experience of current discounts on any other models in the LR stable ?

Who and what’s cheap one day isn’t the next. Stock cars or pre registered will always attract a discount of sorts. Basically there’s no magic formula other than your friend doing a bit of footwork himself.

Footwork ?....fingers are easier
Of course pre-reg cars attract a decent discount, only because some folk get sniffy about them not being the first “owner”.....for a £10k discount I couldn’t give a monkeys quite frankly, I just wondered if anyone had any practical face to face recent experience of what’s out there in the current buyers market (seemingly) "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I’ve purchased 3 new Land Rovers in three years and never from the same dealer. That’s what I am saying, one day you’ll get a good price from a particular dealership, next week you won’t.
Extend your search to the whole of the UK and email the dealerships, some won’t reply, some want you to phone them and others do give you figures by return, thereafter reduce it and play one off against the other. Works for me.

NFU membership gets you an easy 8% + 3% from dealer.
Would be intersting if people are getting anything better.

Try CarWow to give you an idea to start.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I second that. CarWow gives the option of new and pre-reg deals and you can save an absolute packet.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

£3k deposit contribution on the D275 Velar. Plus my dealer is having a new car sale event, so don’t know what additional discounts will be available.

At the "sales" event I went to last night, not 1 salesman came over to speak to us, despite us wandering around for 30 minutes, and 3 of them all chatting to each other My D3 Build Thread

That what I found at the last one I went to. They have lost the art of 'selling'.

when I changed to my D5 all bar one of the midlands dealers were trying to sell me what they had got, not what I wanted. The one that listened got my business.

I realise that this is slightly off topic, but there were some staggering discounts available on the Jaguars at the JLR dealership in Truro during this last week
That’s roughly 24% off a brand new XJ, in black. That’s distress selling 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
