2Ltr service intervals

Chaps. Is the D5 2ltr service interval still 16k miles or 12 months, whichever comes sooner, as I found something that implied the 2ltr had 21k service interval ( but that might be in the Jag)

21K. That's when I had mine done and when the service message came on.

I’d never leave a car that long between oil changes.

Our Skoda is 2years or 20k miles. It gets serviced annually when the MOT is due. 2 years is too long IMHO.

Our vans are 2 years or 24k that's what they recommend so that's what they get. Three year they get sold on so I only have to give them one service Thumbs Up
I looked at taking the JLR service plan on for our Disco Sport, however no point, as again it will get moved on after 3 years. It will only get 1 service whilst on the fleet.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

My Velar is a year old next month, feels odd not having it booked in for a service.

As it happens Laughing

It’s going in to get a software update, which according to owners that have it, it’s how the car should’ve been from launch.

Ok so 2 yrs or 21k. I just wanted to check as I agree I wouldn’t leave it that long without at least an oil and filter change.

It goes against the grain, but I suppose if you intended to get rid once it was out of warranty, then you wouldn't care. Thumbs Up

I had a DS 2 years before it was serviced and oil changed. There wasn’t a problem.

The D5 is likewise and I don’t intend to throw an oil change at it when it says it doesn’t need it.
