Great photos! I guess we should all be heading across the water before we're not allowed in anymore

Definitely get over there! Didn't really enjoy France to be honest, much preferred south Germany and the mountainous areas!Silver MY10 D4

He was good, especially on the longer trips, some taking a good 7/9 hours due to traffic, road closures, optimistic satnav. Bare in mind one day was Paris to the West midlands (430 miles/691Km).
We took quite a few stops, fuel, food, toilet breaks and bit of stretching for the little one. Had a tablet headrest holder and attached a samsung galaxy tablet to it with ABC/Numbers etc games on to keep him occupied. Worked wonders!Silver MY10 D4

Great photos and looks like you had a good road trip (barring roadworks/closures/traffic)

Went really well. 1827 miles. Love the french motorways, just sit there at 80 and watch the fuel gauge drop. I was shocked how expensive fuel is in France, made sure we had a full tank leaving Andorra !!!
First time we've ever done anything like that and was pleased we did, looking forward to planning the next one !!!!2008 G4 D3 vehicle No 11. UK selections.

Awesome! I stayed off the French motorways and stayed on the main country lanes stuck at 50! Mind, I didn't really go much over 65 anywhere due to the roof being loaded, and didn't want to increase my fuel bill anymore than it already was going to be!
You should do the Alps, whether its Austria, Germany or Switzerland, the scenery is just something else!! Albeit do it in summer when its not dark at 4pm
France was expensive for fuel, but not by much compared to the others which was nice. I did put £85.44 of fuel in from 1/4 a tank and still didn't click full!!
It was our first 'road trip/adventure' in the car, definitely looking forward to the next one.. Although I think I need a beach holiday to relax now Silver MY10 D4
