Weak windscreen washer jets |
|
Haven't been able to find a thread on this particular problem...
My windscreen washer jets seem to be getting weaker. Each one seems to trickle out a very faint stream of water which barely reaches the top of the windscreen with any might. They also don't appear to be shooting out of both nozzles - just one on each jet. So in total I got two measly streaks of water.
The headlamp jets and rear window jets seem to be working as normal.
Is there a central pump or should buying a set of new LR049290 washer jets do the trick?
Thanks,

It may be the jet's need a clean with an airline or a pin as they may be blocked or the line may need cleaning Discovery 3 se gone

The windscreen washers have their own pump. Check that the nozzles are not blocked by inserting a needle or straightened paper clip, then check that you do not have a kink in the feed pipe.

you can also remove the small pump from the tank.
Then remove the grommet from tank and clean the filter in the grommet.

Doesn't it get like this when you're over 60?
