| cracked rear light lenses with dampness inside? |

Having a few issues with my D3 and trying to work out if it's something very simple with the electric or actual individual problems.
My question is I have a cracked rear lense which has dampness inside. All the lights work as they should but I guess the dampness being inside could cause an electrical issue as I have read a bit about.
Can I remove both brake bulbs or both rear clusters all together to see if this cures any problems? Or do I need to clean all contacts and replace with one bulbs to have a true idea if this cluster is a problem?

All lights work..... so what problem do you have?

Intermitant HDC fault comes up, can't select special programmes, airbag light, can't select sport mode/semi auto and now and again an 'F' will come up where gear selection should show.
It might not be related but I just wanted to try and eliminate the rear lights as a contributing factor?
