Well,
While waiting for the replacement set, the other one went last night.
Ordered a set of standard Osram to get me by. MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone

Rushed to fit these last night. Now I know how to do it, only took me 5 mins. Just enough light to not need a torch.
Both Nightbreakers had blown.
Put new lamps in. Both on great.
Get changed, and rush back out again. Driving along, thought, it looks a bit dark. Stop to pick up daughter, and N/S lamp has gone. In less than 10 mins.
Get to destination, and park up. Still N/S is off.
Spend 2 hours at family birthday party. As I'm walking to car, press for the lights to come on, so I can see the puddles. Both lights come on!
Now I'm confused.
Start car, and within minute N/S is off again.
Check the box they came in when I get home. Got 80w instead of 55w. Same thing this morning on the drive in. Both come on, then N/S off.
Do you have to change anything with the iid tool to set the car up for 80w lamps? MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone
