External A pillar trim clips - which ones???
Hi all - the scuttle panel on my D4 is shot and I want to refurbish it. I have found a handy guide on how to remove it and I know I have to remove the A pillar trims. I fully expect some of the clips to break when I pop it off so in anticipation of this I want to get a few replacements. Does anyone know which are the correct clips?? A photo would be helpful too!!!
Thanks

You can get the scuttle off without taking the pillar trims off, start on the passenger side you can bend it enough to get it off, when refitting start with the driver's side.
Just replaced mine that way 2 minute job 👍

Even if you remove them without breaking them, they need to be changed, LR say they are use once and replace.

Just order them from site sponsor Advanced Factors and you'll get the right ones. If you're not sure what to order call them and they will talk you through ordering the correct clips. I just ordered some for the lower door trim and they were post, supposedly, to arrive 2 or 3 days later but actually arrived next day. Cheap as chips.
Previously I went to local stealer for same clips as in a hurry and they charged me £1.60 per clip. Ridiculous and more so as I paid it!

I am assuming thescuttle pan is the plastic trim over the wiper motor, if so then yes it's a peice of cake to remove without removing the a trims. I did it recently to check my motor.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey
