Not likely but borrowing the brother in laws new motor home now looks more likely 😉
I’d still love to do it again but don’t think I can justify the purchase of a one at the moment....
BTW I would certainly recommend 4x4Overlander in Halifax for if any one wanted hire one, and if you decide to buy then they will refund 50%. They have a few including a hard top tent. Very knowledgeable people, with loads of experience in the industry and certainly a company I’ll be going back to.RLD CB Bracket

Its an acquired taste I think. My wife wasn't keen and I was ready for a change hence RT sold yesterday The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

The day I sold my RT (Well one of them ) SWMBO said "oh I liked that" even though she'd never used it
We now have one on the trailer and she's camped 4 times thus year in it Iggy/Ieuan

Have PM’d you. I used roof bars rather than rack, but would highly recommend a rack if you buying rather than one off rent. The wind underneath the tent with the height of the bars wasn’t good and didn’t feel great inside.

Bit of a thread resurrection, but after all this time and mainly just for a bit of fun..... we've bought a roof tent (new) and going to pick up the roof rack (2nd hand) this evening.

I was in a RT last summer, on the Gower coast in 70+mph
When we woke up next day, we were the only ones left standing, by 11am everybody else had left and we had the sight to ourselves Iggy/Ieuan
