Alarm notification

Does anybody know if it is possible to get a product to fit to the alarm on your car that phones you should the alarm sound. My house alarm has such a device so they do exist for domestic use.
This might be a project for someone. Dont know if it is possible to wire a cheap pay as you go phone so it phones a set number after it has been triggered.

I am thinking of going the GSM route for my webasto heater ,if the unit could do both it would swing it for me

The GSM Telemetry modules I fit are capable of taking an alarm input - only problem is getting one from the D3!! I'll have a play with a sounder Wink
