That was fantastic. Just filming it that well must have taken him a lot of extra time. Having the right tools for the job is also helps as he learned.
Informative and entertaining!

Hi
Ur right u know ref the guy in the video , taking that lot on himself was defentely a big pat on the back
I’ve still got the passenger side to do, but am enquiring about a power tool that may do the job considerably quicker and a lot easier , but don’t know yet if it will work , going to be the lab rat first
If i may say that’s a good price , considering what they can be to get off
It seems it’s wishbones or doorlocks season

I fitted all new brake hoses , drop links and bushes and indeed after doing one understand how labour intensive they are
Dealer wanted around 2k to replace both sides
For both sides I think I spent around £300 for parts
But still got the passengers side to do
Oh and the alignment on top , that was £90 from top marks in hooley Surrey , fantastic and very helpful staff

Good video, made me chuckle. Helped a mate do his last year what a job! things like that look so straightforward he brought it round expecting to get it all done in a morning I used my SDS drill in chisel mode with a cut down modified chisel to release some of it, it was a right job and took us most of the day in the end to get them both changed.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I have no doubt that there's an enormous sense of satisfaction doing that sort of job on a car, but it's the " , don't have the correct tool, off to the shop in t'other car" stuff that gets annoying and expensive.
There's a reason I pay my indie to do stuff for me - I like my weekends for other stuff. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
