That was fantastic. Just filming it that well must have taken him a lot of extra time. Having the right tools for the job is also helps as he learned.

Informative and entertaining!

Mine where the same as yours gstuart took one look and thought Censored that got my indy to do them 3 days later and £600 the poorer there done. After seeing that video I'm glad I chickened out, I can wield a lump hammer with the best of them (had LRs for 30 years) poor sod deserves a medal.

Hi

Ur right u know ref the guy in the video , taking that lot on himself was defentely a big pat on the back

I’ve still got the passenger side to do, Big Cry but am enquiring about a power tool that may do the job considerably quicker and a lot easier , but don’t know yet if it will work , going to be the lab rat first Laughing

If i may say that’s a good price , considering what Censored they can be to get off

It seems it’s wishbones or doorlocks season Rolling with laughter

thought I'd been ripped off at first not now tho and the price included new brake line both side and an A/C re-gas

I fitted all new brake hoses , drop links and bushes and indeed after doing one understand how labour intensive they are

Dealer wanted around 2k to replace both sides Big Cry

For both sides I think I spent around £300 for parts

But still got the passengers side to do

Oh and the alignment on top , that was £90 from top marks in hooley Surrey , fantastic and very helpful staff

Good video, made me chuckle. Helped a mate do his last year what a job! things like that look so straightforward he brought it round expecting to get it all done in a morning Laughing I used my SDS drill in chisel mode with a cut down modified chisel to release some of it, it was a right job and took us most of the day in the end to get them both changed.

I have no doubt that there's an enormous sense of satisfaction doing that sort of job on a car, but it's the " Censored , don't have the correct tool, off to the shop in t'other car" stuff that gets annoying and expensive.

There's a reason I pay my indie to do stuff for me - I like my weekends for other stuff. Rolling with laughter
