Forgive me if this has been covered but i couldn't find anything, but have landrover dropped the v6 petrol completely now?
Does this mean that the d5 is only available in 4cyl petrol or diesel if you want a v6?

D5 is no longer available with the V6 Petrol. The engines are still being produced, but production has slowed and will stop soon as JLR move away from Ford engines to their own-brand Ingenium engines. Disco 5 HSE Lux

Ah, so the ones that are out there may become sought after then.
Ok, cheers.

I presume this is why there is a large space in front of the TDV6/SDV6 engine in the D5? To accommodate 3 more cylinders?

There’s the SVX with a 5.0 liter V8, too. Unsure how much bigger it is.

3.0SC has been dropped across all JLR 19MY vehicles, except F-Type. All down to new emission regs

The 5.0 is no bigger than the 3.0. It's the same engine block, they just don't bore out the back cylinders on the 3.0!

Really? That's a big bit of spare metal to lug around for no good reason - or do they chop off the extra bit too? Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
