PENDING PURGE VALVE REPLACEMENT

I'm getting a code for a Pending Purge Valve Replacement.
Can anyone recommend a video or service manual instructions for this procedure?
I was told by my mechanic at the center that specializes in Rovers that this is a relatively straightforward task.

Remove the engine cover and you will see it on the left of the engine held there by a couple of bolts. Remove plug, pipe clamp, bolts, and then the valve. Lubricate "0" rings of new valve and fit in reverse order of above.
