Disco Mikey (MMP Land Rover)
Top service as usual.
Booked the car in for Mike’s first go at flushing an 8-speed (plus new front discs and pads).
Others have reported no difference and tbh I was expecting the same, with the flush at 83k more of a preventative measure. However up-changes are perceptibly smoother, especially at lower speeds so I’m happy with that.
The oil was black, and I’d definitely recommend a flush....photo below shows the new v old during the flush process.
Cheers Mikey

Absolutely, we consider ourselves very lucky to have him close by. Not only spot on skills wise but great to deal with as a bloke.

Have said it before, and will say it again, the guy is legend. I swear our car is psychic as it only ever breaks down when it is going to be used to go on holiday or fulfill some task that requires enormous boot space. This time it bonged on the way to the LandRover Experience in Dunkeld. Texted Mike who said it would be ok and to visit him before returning home. Fault codes read and car booked in for wiring inspection when Mike comes back his holidays. We were told we could drive it to Port Appin for the weekend but we have decided not to tempt fate. Superb service again from Mike and always reassured that, when we get it back, the vehicle has had the fault repaired properly and we’ve not just been told it’s been dealt with.

Many thanks for your help this afternoon when my D4 threw a hissy fit, Next time I’ll make sure I have a code reader in the car.
Got to Glasgow and it did not spit the dummy again.
