Photo's of Atacama Sand and Izmir Blue Discovery 3 wanted
I would like to see any photo's taken of these two colours on a Discovery 3. The Land Rover site ones show the colours wrong, would like to see actual photo's and comments from owners how they like the colour.
Thanks 90 RangieDo not take life too seriously no one gets out alive anyway!

I've seen the Izmir Blue in my dealers showroom... looks very nice. Not too blue and makes the D3 look quite upmarket.
Mind you, the light in the UK will make it look far different to that of where you are.
Freelander 2 website may be better as its a bit more up to date than the D3 section.

Can't find any pics of it on the D3 but there are certainly pics of it on the Freelander 2, such as...
Izmir blue is a nice colour, as stated above it make the D3 (and F2) look expensive, on the F2 SE model u can get the half blue fabric / half Alpaca leather finish which matches well.

Thanks I did see the photo's of the Freelander but was chasing some real photo's of D3's. Has Izmir blue got a purple tinge to it in real life or is that the way it looks on the computor? Anyone with Atacama sand photo's?Do not take life too seriously no one gets out alive anyway!

don't remember it having a purple tinge, i seem to remember it being quiet a clean colour

The Blue is nice, but will look different depending on the time of day etc
I would go for the Sand colour, won't show the dirt as much (especially where you are)
I had a similar colour to the Atacama Sand in a 4wd years ago, it was really labour saving, used to only wash
the wheels and windows,.
Washed the bodywork probably only every 12 months, but everyone used to comment how clean my vehicle
always looked
My next D3 (when the V8 comes out ) will probably be a Sand , or similar colour.

Hmm,
I thought Atacama Sand was more of a beige colour, but fter looking at the photo of Turtle146's D3 in
catweasel's reply, it seems to have more of a greenish tint,
looks more like Arctic Frost

I have the Atacama sand D3 and am very pleased with it.
It does change colour depending on how the light hits it, and can have a green or beige tinge as well.
It certainly doesn't show dirt or dust much (unlike Black, WHO would have that colour in Australia...except my wife ).regards
Peter
