Costs - 2nd service for the D4 Landmark 3.0 TDI - 66 plate.
Hi all,
Getting near 2nd service for the D4 Landmark 3.0 TDI - 66 plate.
It is coming up to 2 years old and approx. 18k miles.
Local LR dealer has quoted £657.76 for the service, excluding AdBlue, etc.
'Service includes, 3 hours labour, oil, air, fuel and pollen filter changes. Fuel treatment, screen wash and engine oil change is included in the price as well.'
Anyone else have any recent prices to compare please.
Also where can I find the service schedules/sheets for the D4s please?
Also best route for updating the SatNav data please?
Many thanks.
JC

Wow, that’s a lot of money for an oil and filter service.
I’m glad mine is still on the service plan.
You can use an independent just make sure you can prove that genuine parts were used in case of a warranty claim.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.
D3 2005 HSE, Bonatti Grey, now sold but still comes back for servicing.
Defender 2002 Td5 Commercial, had a hard life but slowly being restored.

Like Del said thought Landmarks came with the 5 yr service plan !
I took the In laws Landmark last week or it's first service didn't cost a penny, I'd check to see if it has it I'm sure it should MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

It was something you had to buy, so not automatically with the car. Told my folks about it, they hadn’t heard of it (I was prob pointed to it by someone here), they made sure it was included in the purchase.

My Landmark had a 5 year service pack but it was something the dealer had added to sweeten the deal, it wasn't included. Cheers Ian

Had mine as a sweetener also, just had the second service, so far all I’ve had changed is the rear pads which I fitted myself, quite happy with the servicing costs so far for two years

My Landmark didn't come with a service pack. My second service was around £300 back in February. Done at Shukers Aberystwyth.

Yes Del is right the 5 year service plan was £699.00 when purchased with a new vehicle.
They do try and limit it to 50k miles although the paperwork is misleading and shows services up to and including 5 years and 80k miles.
I will be having a chat with the service manager when I reach 50k if they refuse to honour the plan.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

Hi,
The dealer where I bought the car included the first service FOC and now I have to pay for them.
I asked about the Service Packs, but they have to be bought with the car from new........
So missed that too.
Thanks
JC
