Value my Overland Trailer
Hello Chaps,
I am after some idea as to what I should be asking for my trailer. I am looking to take it to the LR Show in Sept and advertise it there ‘For Sale’. I would appreciate your recommendation for an asking price?
In short, I am looking to re-invest in another piece of kit... It is one of a kind and was purchased in South Africa for ~£14.5K
So it’s a Dessert Wolf Lynx. It has all the bells and whistles included:
Overview: Dessert Wolf Lynx is manufactured from austenitic Stainless Steel with satin and rigidised finish. All lids equipped with adjustable stainless steel latches - water and dust resistant. The only trailer where every nut, bolt, hinge and rivet is Stainless Steel. All models with 3CR12 Stainless Steel chassis with epoxy coating, run in brake system, Air assist suspension, leaf spring suspension with safari shocks and axle stabilisers, hi-lift jack points and two rear mounted stabilisers. Axle width and PCD designed to match tow vehicle track.
Tent: Desert Wolf Main Roof top tent (6 man) Rip Stop Nylon with octagon fly sheet. The Desert Wolf trailer tents are unique in design and the use of material. The design aim is to create a tent that is light and airy, completely waterproof and most importantly, quick to put up. The trailer tents are manufactured in two models, the 5-man and the 6-man tent. Each tent has an octagonal flysheet that is permanently attached to the tent and very easy to erect. There is a 100mm space between the tent and the flysheet, ensuring that the tent is always in its own shade. In addition it has sides to the cooking area create a cosy space in bad weather.

A fair bit will depend on the fit out of the trailer but similar globemasters go for £10k ish.may the odds be ever in your favor
