Can see this getting an expensive evening
Thks will check that out , have got a tom Tom but they’ve decided to now stop providing updates for the one I’ve got so will check that garmin out
May i ask please have u just got a simple OBD2 Bluetooth adapter plugged in to provide the torque display screen u have on the garmin plse
Great u can also use a reversing camera
Also reminds me later need to sort out a Bluetooth module retrofit so I can then get my iPhone to work with the steering wheel controls
There is a Nokia 7 w module wires in, must admit never tried it
Thks again
PS, the D4 steering wheel is mine , all mine , thks again steve

You are very observant, I have a Garmin ecoroute plugged into the obd port.
It Bluetooths engine data to the sat nav screen, it's worth it for battery charging voltage alone but has various inlet and outlet pressures, speed, revs, coolant temp etc. etc. All of which can be displayed as gauges on the screen. Details here:
Those early Garmins are superb for modding, there's even a D3 vehicle icon and you can mod the boot screen too:
Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

Bless and do try and notice details
Thks and see ur model looks obsolete so have been reading up on the garmin website , have always had Tom tom before
Will check that video out, thank u
Another option I’ve thought of is replacing my base model radio with a double screen 7 inch touch screen that has a built in satnav but will make a visit to Halfords or a specialised radio shop to see what there like in person
Really like some of the pioneers , won’t even bother trying to fit the original centre screen as I believe the satnav in that is pants and not worth the hassle
But must admit would have liked just having the 4x4 screen but don’t want to start getting involved with a multitude of leads , MOST , etc , etc
Another reason I thought about the double din is the centre pocket is handy for sunglasses etc and also have my split charge monitor there
Suppose just weighing up the options , only thing is I believe I’ll loose my dash clock which is very handy to have in its location
Thks again

You will lose your dashclock AND your clock in dash mod, presuming you've had that done, as the 6 disc factory radio provides the signal data for the COD should you replace the head unit. Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

Thks, that’s what I thought , done the update myself along with the 3 x flash indicator update
Think it’s easier isn’t it , being able to remove my base single cd as I haven’t got all the MOST system behind it that the higher models have
Have learnt a lot this evening that’s for sure, bless u
