Oil leaking from the rear n/s of my D4 ?
Hi There
Daft question time
After a short 5 min drive I pulled up and noticed spots of clear(ish) fluid on the floor when I looked closer it looked like there was oil leaking from the rear n/s, I am not sure what it is or where it is coming from.
I have attached a pic to see if anyone can help me out before I make the dreaded call to a garage. I have put an arrow in the direction the leak is coming from.
Many thanks in advance

Looks clear (as in colourless), so either it'll stink of diesel, or it's brake fluid? - isn't that roughly where the join happens when brake lines are half replaced?Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Hi All
I have checked the brake fluid reservoir and it is very low, also checked the fluid and it appears to be the same so can safely say that it we here the problem is.
Can I ask if this is a job for a local garage rather than a dealer ?
Thanks for all your comments, really helpful!
