My poorly D3, "Ruby", is due to come home on Sunday...…...
Been away for an extended visit to Woody32 for some major tinkering and servicing!! I am expecting a wallet lightening bill, but she is worth it! No...the engine didn't go bang!!
It has surprised me just how much I have missed not having her about, been using my Motorbike and Van for the last 3 weeks. Had to stop using it until Woody32 could fit her in, injector finally started to fail after 6 months of smoking!!
She has had 6 new injectors, new cambelts and bits, new oil pump, new water pump, done while it was apart as they had done 193K miles. Plus a gearbox flush, new propshaft, all the oils, and a new aux belt tensioner and a couple of front rubber brake hoses. Also a door lock actuator that has been playing up for years.
I certainly purchased a good one when I got this D3...……….Hopefully good for a few more years 8) ------------------------------

Just got home after collecting her.
Drives so nice now...…….worth every penny!
Anyone who buys a cheap D3 and thinks they can run it on a shoestring budget, will be in for an awful shock!
Hopefully she is good now to sail past the 200k miles and onwards for a few more years. ------------------------------
