hi
wonder if it’s used for pulling cables ie, telephone / power lines etc in difficult to reach terrain ???

Looks like they're doing the tracking with the car set low in access mode. Richard

Alas no more pictures, as I felt slightly uncomfortable taking that one. As for the signage is was partial, and the rear door looks slightly different shade...Huggs.

is this something like the winch
just noticed the extra heavy duty lower mounting bars, maybe something clips onto that , indeed bit difficult to see ??

Yes, thats a similar winch. The truck also has two tow bars out the front. which look like they are linked back to the chassis by 4" box section. Full set of flashing lights on the grill area and the rack on top...Huggs.

cheers , did wonder what they were, wonder as it’s got yellow flashing lights maybe an accident recovery vehicle , having the tow bars for trailers, caravans etc ????
or maybe moving small planes, gliders

Saw a TV show where they used a disco to maneuver a static caravan into position with it connected to the front so maybe that?

Good call Mole734, but would't a single tow bar front and central to the vehicle be a better option? The debate goes on, until the owner sheds some light...Huggs.

Always had a tow balls on the front of my 110s for putting the boat in and out etc and is best on one side for visibility and putting things in tight spots -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.
