Wheel & Tyre Sizes in CCF

Hi,

Just wondered what difference the wheel/tyre sizes make in the CCF.

My D4 came with 20" wheels and 255/50 tyres. I have now replaced these with 19" wheels (255/55 tyres)

My CCF (no changes my me) currently look like this

Tire aspect ratio - 70%
Tire size (rolling circumference) - 2325mm
Tire width (millimetres) - 235 mm
Trip Fuel Eco Adjust - 3.0%
Wheel rim diameter - 17 inch
Tyre Rolling Radius (mm) - ABS - 372
Tyre Size MSB - IPC - 31

Should I be changing that lot?

Clearly wrong and interesting.

You cannot fit 17" wheels to a D4!

For 255/55/R19:-

Tire aspect ratio - 55%
Tire size (rolling circumference) - 2396mm
Tire width (millimetres) - 255 mm
Wheel rim diameter - 19 inch

I can't assist with:-
Trip Fuel Eco Adjust
Tyre Rolling Radius (mm)
Tyre Size MSB - IPC

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will assist.

I changed the 20" wheels on my D4 for 19", and appreciate the improved ride.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes ride is better with the 19's and gives a little more protection when not on the tarmac Whistle

Don't know if the Trip Fuel Eco Adjust is part of it, thats just the order of items in IID Tool.

If you adjust the Eco setting to -6.5 or -7% it makes the mpg readout near as dammit spot on, takes the smile off off your face a bit though.

Yes, well it certainly is on a D4, if you make a note of the current Tyre Rolling Radius ABS setting so that you can revert back to it if necessary and then scroll backwards in your case you will come to your new tyre size amongst the three digit numbers, I have tried changing other all available relevant tyre size or wheel size stttings one at a time in the CCF and this is the only one that works on my D4 and is very accurate once changed. I changed from 275/45/21 summer to 255/55/19 winter. Make one change at a time noting the present setting so that you can revert back if it does not work and try the next as there are several different types of settings you can change, you have just got to find the one that works with your car as Pat Gap says only one or perhaps two will work with your vehicle.
Rolling Circumference for example was set at max, I reduced it several times and it made no difference.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
