ive purchased a new complete selector unit form duckworth and want to swap the unit over
ive had a look at the videos on you tube and am fairly happy with the job but wondered if anyone else has done this and has any must do or must not do tips
is it just plug and play job or will ccf work be required

If it's already programmed to your vehicle, just remember to replace it with the ignition switched off. I've replaced lots in engineering cars in work over the last 10 years and there's nothing to really worry about.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

when you say programmed what do you mean ?
its and existing 8 speed selector coming out and the same part ordered relevant to the vehicle reg going back in
so a like for like swap its not a retro or upgrade process ....MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

Just fit it with ignition off when you disconnect electrical plug them it does not register any faults plug and play.

In which case it should be pre-programmed.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
