Can anybody tell me how the jack is packed when not used? How much space does it take in the trunk?
Apparently it's 50cm x 50cm x 30cm when packed down.
It's pretty much the size of a wheel and tyre (spacesaver) when packed down. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Thanks ND, I had to go by what the suppliers said to me, but felt sure someone out there would give us a better, real life perspective. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Various unforeseen expenses (inc. Mrs LT's Visa card ) this month, plus the dreaded tax. to pay by the 31st, means that I'll have to pass on this.
Sorry to be a "Larry Let Down"

No worries LT, I know that feeling - but can you please remove your registration from the top list. That way I won't chase you for a response in the last few days.

Thanks for the PM look forward to getting it. Arranging alternative delivery address so that SWMBO does not go off the deep end.
Thanks for arranging.
Cheers

Only 3 more to go - Those of you who "Definitely Want One" should have had details of how to contact the suppliers now - if not PM me. If there's a tick next to your username it means the Suppliers confirmed your order as being received by them, if not please contact the suppliers as soon as possible.
I just reconfirmed with the suppliers that if you're one of the 3 orders deferred to April due to them only having 7 in stock when we started, then you wouldn't be expected to pay until April either - this might help if you are wanting to wait for the new tax year.
Originally I said that I'd wait til April for mine to give others a chance to get theirs quicker - but if it means getting the required 10 takers together or not, then I'll take one of the earlier ones, leaving three available for April. I know of 1 in this position, so hopefully there a few more out there and we can still benefit from this.
Cheers,

Welcome aboard Stumpy - thanks for the PM, good news you're on the mend.
1 more taker is all we need, it can either be a quick purchase i.e. part of the current stock or one of the delayed until April lot,, I'm happy to trade places which ever suits the last taker.
So come on guys.
P.S. if anyone knows contact details other than e-mail or PM for Bodsy, Bluebarchetta, or Gasman could you please give them a little nudge to update their subscription, even if it's to be removed. I have sent them PM's but they done appear to have been on-line for a while.
Cheers LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
