Bluetooth problems when trying to use two different phones.. |
|
Hi peeps
I have a new HSE with PTI (as of yesterday!). I first tried pairing my Imate Jasjam (ie same as SPV3100 hence LR approved), which worked fine and called my wife to tell her how much better the phone system was in the new car. Then I paired my work mobile, a nokia 3109c, which also worked fine and had the bonus of phone book integration. Woohoo.
As it is now Christmas I turned off the work phone...
Trouble is, now the PTI refuses to recognise that the Imate is connected - giving me "phone not installed". I have tried deleting the partnership and re-establishing it, and yes it is selected as "handsfree" on the phone, but the Disco still ignores it. Yes the Nokia still works.
Anyone any ideas what is going on ? If there was a cunning way to reset the bluetooth in the PTI I would do it...

Try making sure that the vehicle has been locked up and allowed to go to sleep ( takes a few minutes ) then try pairing again . Make sure that the other paired phoned is off and well away from the motor
Hope that helps 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I sometimes have to reboot my phone (humble 6230i) for the car to see it (or vice versa).
