Tyres and spacer choice
I’ve recently purchased a full set of
255/55 19 Goodyear wrangler duratrac with 30mm spacers
Can I please have thoughts and previous experience on these tyres and wheel spacers
Thank you

don't bother with the spacers unless you like changing wheel bearings.
I had 19's with cooper zeon ltz and 30mm wheel spacers looked great but both front bearing went about 9 months later 1 then 3 weeks later the other.
took the 30mm off and fitted 5mm then took them off as don't need them.
I have 5 and 10 mm spacers in my shed

No experience with spacers, however the duratracs are the 2nd best tyre ever made, only beaten by bfg ATJust remember:-

Had 25mm f 30mm r spacers for a few years. No bearing issues.
Running LTZs
Only done about 30k since fitting.
I prefer the spacer look on earlier wheels. I think latter styles have more offset by design.( Am I correct?)It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

got 19s with duratracs and 30mm spacers. No wheel bearing issues and can clear square speed bumps round here without touching them

Lots rate the Duratracs on here, cannot recall a bad word ref them.
As a standard size tyre would not bother with spacers personally, don't see the point, and another phone call to the insurance company to check they are ok with them!D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
