Look good not a great painter myself but have been dabbling with a little Plasti-dip lately on a couple of ali brackets i made which is fun.
I take it then that cat5 was good enough for switching relays?
By the way does the centre console just come out the same way as the older version with the gear stick as not had this one out yet unlike my old D3 and all the vids available seem to be of earlier D4’s? D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Cat5 fine for switching relays
Centre console is easy (ish) to take out. Remove the cup holder and then undo 2 screw, now you need to be brave and pull from near the top and it will come out. I’ll see if I’ve got some photos of what I mean.

Console is clipped in here. Give it a pull and it should all come out.

Brilliant mod Andy.
Is the aux battery totally concealed in the rear cubby, or does it protrude onto the floor area?
Certainly a mod I'd be interested in doing ......if only I had a brain.

Battery will be fully concealed. It a fully sealed unit so can be mounted in any orientation and won’t leak. Will probably be standing it on it’s end if that makes sense. Will sort some way of securing it when I get the rear boot trim off. Rained all day here so not done anymore work on it unfortunately.D4 MY15 SE TECH

Couple of brackets fitted. These will be for some side lights when my awning is in use. Need a bit of fettleing bit happy with the fit and look. Will just be fitting a pair of cheap lights for now and will replace with something like I’ve got on the rear ladder, Lightforce ROK20

Finally got my switches connected up and must say I’m rather pleased with them.
This is the night time shot. They look very bright but in real life they are just right I think. Plus I’ll not forget I’ve got the turned on.

a great looking truck Andy well done. I'm interested in the aux battery mounting in the rear cubby so following with interest.

Thanks for the comment
Prospeed do a mounting bracket that goes in the rear passenger side cubby box. Unfortunately they are out of stock at the minute so will cobble something together until I can get one of those D4 MY15 SE TECH
