D4 2010 Fuel Gauge Stuck on Full
Hi All, any ideas, filled up to brim no issues then noticed after a day the fuel gauge has not moved?
Although this was a nice site I realized this was not normal. Not sure if this is a coincidence but I did update me dash software last week to the newer look but all seemed ok ?

Ok so the issue seems to be since I updated the IPC software it would appear the Algorithm for the Fuel gauge is different and a lot slower to reduce. Has anyone else had this issue when they updated their D4 MY2010 ?

Change it back if you can, see if that cures it, at least you'll know the cause. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I had no issues installing the update from GAP on a 2011 TDV6.
Does the gauge not move at all? I know mine shows full for the first 120km (75mi) or so and then starts going down, but I thought that was normal.
Sorry for going slightly off topic and it may be a daft question but how can I tell if my dash has the update?.

If it's what I think it is you loose the graduated grey shading on the fuel & temp display.

“You gain a more legible display” .. I wasn’t a fan of the grey areas either

I was ok with the greyed out bit, just did the change coz I could. Note the other change in my top pic, odometer (and hence most other things) in old money, digital speedometer in km/h. Most useful when travelling in foreign parts as LR couldn't be ars_ed putting the km/hr ring in the main speedo.

Thanks all for the info I think I have now confirmed the issue was with me , I had not noticed the gauge does not move from full until approx 70 miles and assumed the update had caused this. I flashed the old level back and still the same.

You can change the digital speed reading to kmph in the trip computer units setting
