Just swapped my 2009 D4 (with 200k miles) for a 2014 D4 (with 25k miles). Almost identical vehicles, except the newer vehicle appears to have noticeably heavier steering. Tyres are part worn Wranglers at 37psi. So that doesn't seem to be the cause. The Stop Start thing might be impacting a bit, but only in some situations. Please can anyone help me explain / resolve this as the heavier steering is spoiling the driving experience somewhat. Disco 4 TDV6HSE

Thanks both. I'll try the WD40 but if that doesn't sort it I'll take it back to the dealer. One downside of sourcing a vehicle a long way from home. Disco 4 TDV6HSE
