Edit CCF from AUD2 to AUD4 Logic7 amp
Hi all,
Currently doing a Logic 7 upgrade. Do I need to edit the ccf from AUD2 to AUD4 in order for it to work properly?
I have moved the appropriate speaker cables to the correct outputs on the L7 amp but It sounds terrible and I even have music coming from the sub in the boot (should just be bass).
Any advice will help.
Thanks.

Heya Ben, I have done the same thing my self a few years back. I had the same experience as you do When I didn't move the speaker wires around in those 2 connectors. So double check the pin configuration.
Regarding Aud2c or Aud4, I do not think there is any difference, only options are visible and availible on the IHU then you change the "value" to logic 7.
But its a good idea to have set the correct "values" in the ccf. it might trigger a faultcode allong the lines of invalid configuration etc.

Thanks for the reply Mr.P.
Did you not change the CCF then?
What logic7 amp did you use? My standard HK or Hiline is a 8H32-19C164-AA. I first bought a AH42-19C164-BC but had no sound at all. So I bought a 8H42-19C164-BB which as said plays sound but doesn’t go very loud, sounds ‘tinny’ and is playing music from everywhere.
I’m pretty sure the speaker wires are correct but I will double check. I haven’t connected the front middle or center dash speaker (I’m not bothering with rear D pillar for now) would this make it sound like this? Maybe a duff amp.
I’m getting the CCF coded to AUD4 on Tuesday do you think this won’t make a difference then?
Cheers, Ben

i have had it the other way arround .
AUD 4 in the CCF file and a AUD2 amp under the seat.
This caused the radio to restart alsmost every time i unlocked the car.
After setting the correct AUD in the CCF file all works OK
So there is a difference between both.
And this can cause problems.
