The numbers on the dials are really just act as comfort indicators , like on thermostatic radiator valves unfortunately. Even by that standard they fail, as the temp drops after an hour or so of driving even on manual.

So they claim the outside temperature changed and that caused the drop inside. Without measurements and independent evidence you can’t prove otherwise. It’s just opinion. We know it to be true. Got to prove it.

Kajtzu-I sent some slides along with a covering letter, attempting to get the issue on his radar. The slides were a summary from this forum, attempting to highlight that the issue is both real and widespread on 2016 vehicles.

If you pm your email address I will gladly forward them.

Cheers Paul

Maybe LR are going retro - they're taking us back to the Mk1 era. Shocked

Switzerland 2016 LR4 3.0 SDV6 Landmark LE Auto Zermatt SilverLR4

I am certain something changed after 2014 from reading all the comments on this and other threads. My MY2014 HSE was absolutely fine, worked as it should. My 2016 Landmark has the same issue as the other posters here and the dealer here in Switz has had 2 goes at fixing it, with minor improvement only.
My commute is an hour, and the temp starts dropping after 30 mins. Yes you can constantly play with the manual setting to override it, but sure the point is that you shouldn't have to. Autoaircon is something that works in the most basic of cars.
Apart from this issue I love the car, but now have serious doubts as to whether I would buy another Landrover product. The fault is bad enough for a car at the end of its production cycle which should not be developing new issues, but their absolute rejection of its existence and unwillingness to investigate is pretty shocking. Yes they are selling lot of cars these days, but this attitude will catch up with them at some point for certain. You can't treat customers like this forever without consequences.

Urgent: heating issue D4 Graphite

Hello

I had my d4 66 plate Graphite in for heating issue and the dealer has said nothing is wrong.

I know there is and then are even refusing to do the sensor mod.

Has anyone got same age vehicle and had it done or able to provide me any more info to go and fight this with.

Thanks Thumbs Up

Thanks for that. I’ve read that a few times and am aware it’s linked to canon sensor.

Anyone had a 66 Graphite fixed or the tsb implemented?

Thanks

Of course Thumbs Up

This dealer said that as they couldn’t reproduce the fault they can’t apply any bulletins. They didn’t say they were not aware of the problem but said that until they can capture the results they shan’t do a thing

But as we all know on a fairly warm day the issue isn’t likely to reproduce

Said that when I booked it in in january it was cold but had to wait 4 months for an appointment.
